Sound World Solutions launches the CS50, an iPhone-compatible "personal sound amplifier" designed for customers in need of help with hearing but do not actually want a hearing aid.
The small device connects to mobile phones via Bluetooth, runs for up to 15 hours on a single charge and doubles as a mobile device headset. One can also use it to stream audio from a variety of sources, as well as help with listening in noisy environments.
It features 3 preset amplification profiles, and a companion app allows for even more personalisation via custom sound profile creator. To further personalise the device the app features an equaliser with treble, mid-range and bass control.
"Regardless of how comfortable the user is with technology, they can get benefit from the CS50," Sound World says. "The product is capable of being as simple or as sophisticated as the user wants it to be."
