Accessory maker Speck announces Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge versions of its toughest smartphone case, the MightyShell-- promising twice the standard military grade-protection from everyday drops and falls.
According to the company, the MightyShell protects from falls up to 8ft (2.4m), whereas the military standard tests using half that height, 4ft (1.2m). To do so, the MightyShell uses 5-layer technology within a from-fitting case to strengthen devices against direct impact.
The MightyShell is available in 5 colours, and well as in MightyShell + Faceplate versions with TrueTap technology for superior touchscreen response and display protection.
Also launched is the Galaxy S6 version of the flagship Speck CandyShell, offering customers military-grade protection in five different colours and patterns.
CandyShell cases come in 4 versions-- regular, CandyShell + Faceplate, CandyShell Grip (with soft rubber ridges), CandyShell Inked (in vibrant designs) and CandyShell Card (holds up to 3 credit cards and cash in side-loading slot).
