Cayllee's Knight Power Bank Blends Power and Security

CaylleeKnightPowerBankChoosing which devices to carry when on the move can be challenging, so the latest solution from Cayllee may prove a valuable combination for many, particularly women. The Knight Power Bank combines a 5,200mAH power pack with a powerful torch, a deafening alarm and a built-in SOS signaller.

Constructed with a solid unibody frame, coated with a comfortable soft-touch surface, and available in light grey or cyan, the Knight Power Bank is a genuinely wide ranging solution. The 5,200mAH battery (nearly 3x that in the iPhone 6) is charged through a micro-USB cable (included), and offers a full-sized 2.1A USB output socket to connect to pretty much any mobile device. An array of four LEDs gives a charge status indication when the device is turned on.

The Knight Power Bank also includes a bright 200 lumens LED torch, and a powerful siren alert, delivering up to 130dB. In use, the functions proved as powerful as the battery, with the light being powerful, and the siren deafening.

A simple slider switch offers four positions: torch only, siren with flashing light, SOS, and Off. A little time spent memorising the positions would be helpful, as there is little tactile feedback, and it seems all too easy to activate the siren by accident.

Overall this is a powerful device, and one that would be bound to engender a sense of security. It also has the benefit of being entirely legal, unlike some of the alternatives marketed.

Cayllee expects the Knight Power Pack to retail for the equivalent of $39.95, and is on the lookout for distribution partners for this and the company’s other mostly power-based products.
