Sony launches a pair of mid-range Xperia smarphones-- the Xperia C5 Ultra with 13MP front-/rear-facing cameras and the Xperia M5 armed with 21.5MP rear-facing camera and 4K video recording capability.
Described as a "pro selfie" smartphone, the Xperia C5 Ultra features a 22mm wide-angle front-facing lens and an "enhanced selfie flash" to suit all your customers' self portrait needs. The 6-inch handset also carries a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 4G network support within aluminium casing in either black, white or green.
Meanwhile the 5-inch Xperia M5 adds more photography smarts through the aforementioned 21.5MP Exmoor RS sensor with faster phase detection autofocus and 5x clear image zoom. It carries a 64-bit 2GHz CPU, 3GB RAM and 16GB RAM inside water- and dustproof casing with IP65 and IP68 certifications.
The smartphones run on Android 5.0 and include a microSD slot for expanded storage capability. Both should be available from mid-August 2015.
