Accessory maker Catalyst claims the Catalyst iPad Pro case is the first "fully-waterproof" case for the device, with an IP68 waterproof rating allowing protection in water depths of up to 2m.
In addition it also boasts military-grade protection against bumps and drops via rubber bumper framing, while still providing access for charging cables and headphones. A non-recessed hard-coated optical lens protects the camera lens, while a touchscreen film promises to allow Touch ID and Apple Pencil functionality.
Another feature involves "acoustic membranes" providing unobstructed access to audio from the 4 iPad Pro speakers.
The Catalyst iPad Pro case should hit the market on "early" 2016.
