Oppo follows on the launch of the Find X smartphone with a pair of companion wireless earbuds-- the O-Free, powered by the recently announced Qualcomm QCC3026 chipset promising cheaper, truly wireless headsets.
The O-Free also include another Qualcomm technology with TrueWireless Stereo, a means for power management and connectivity. Thus, Oppo says the earbuds offer up to 4 hours of use on a single charge, with the charging/carrying case adding a further 12 hours of listening time.
Other features include translation similar to the Google Pixel Buds, integrated volume controls and Siri-style voice controls for music.
The O-Free earbuds launch in China from August 2018 in a choice of red or blue colours. Oppo is still to announce a Western release, though.
