OnePlus follows on the flagship OnePlus 7T with the 7T Pro-- an update featuring a mobile chip upgrade in the shape of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, as well as a "30T" Warp Charge power adapter.

As one might expect, the 7T Pro is fairly similar to the previous model. It retains the same 6.7-inch 1440 x 3120 resolution OLED display complete with 90Hz refresh rate, as well as the rear-facing 48MP triple-camera array and pop-up front facing 16MP shooter. OnePlus says the camera did receive a number of software improvements, such as a macro mode allowing users take photos of small object from as little as 2.5cm away.

On the internals, the aforementioned Snapdragon 855 Plus promises 15% faster GPU performance than the standard 855, together with 8GB RAM. The 4058mAh battery is larger than the 3800mAh battery in the 7T, and includes a charger the company claims can get the 7T Pro to around 68% charge in all of 30 minutes.

Customers wanting a speedier version of the 7T Pro can get the "McLaren Edition"-- a variant clad in signature McLaren papaya orange colour scheme offering 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Both phones run on the latest version of the OxygenOS Android fork, 10.0, with more customisation options and a feature making switching between apps in landscape mode easier.

The OnePlus 7T Pro hits European markets on October 2019, with the McLaren Edition following on November.
