Google launches the Android developer challenge Sub Saharan Africa-- for African developers to submit their best apps in the hopes of winning the prize.
The competition covers 3 regions (West and Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa), with 3 challenge categries as follows:
- entertainment/media/games
- social networking/communication
- productivity/tools/local/geo
Submissions close on 1 June 2011, and Google will announce the winners on 12 September.
What will the winners get? $25000 will go to the winners from each category.
