LaCie reveals a first collaboration with Seagate at CES 2014-- the Fuel, a 1TB "go-anywhere" AirPlay-compatible wireless HDD for use with smartphones, tablets and other connected devices.

The Smallest LG Printer Yet

LG reveals what it claims is one of the smallest mobile printers around at CES 2014-- the Pocket Photo 2.0 (model PD239), a miniature device able to print 5.1 x 7.6cm photos from iOS and Android devices.

Pocket PhotoThe company says the mini-printer is 4mm thinner than the first Pocket Photo model, and uses ZINK technology to print at 313dpi. It connects to mobile device via NFC or Bluetooth after the installation of a free Pocket Photo app.

Users can also embed QR codes in photos for enhanced sharing.

Blue Goji, the startup of Guitar Hero creators Charles and Kai Huang, emerges from stealth mode to reveal Goji Play-- a game control system designed to to allow gameplay while using a treadmill, bike or elliptical machine.

Goji PlayThe Goji Play system consists of two controllers and a wearable motion tracker. Each controller features 2 buttons and attaches to fitness equipment handlebars via velcro straps, while the tracker clips to belts or simply slips in users' pockets.

In turn the device trio connects to iPhones or iPads via Bluetooth to provide control for Blue Goji-developed games. Twelve titles are available on launch, all taking input from the motion tracker as well as the controllers so players need to workout harder for stronger punches or faster driving.
