A Wearable Camera for Smartphones

Ca7ch claims it has the "smallest live-streaming wearable camera" for smartphones yet with the Lightbox, a 4 x 4cm device able to live-stream photos and videos via wifi and Bluetooth.

Catch cameraIt carries a low-light capable 8MP sensor and an f/2.4 lens with image stabilization inside a waterproof aluminum body, and shoots both stills and videos at up to 1080/30p. Image storage comes through 8GB of built-in memory, and can upload images straight to to the cloud.

A magnetic clip allows one to attach it to clothing and the like.

According to the company the battery has enough power to shoot either 1100 photos or 30 minutes of video, with control handled via either hardware button or iOS/Android app.

Earin Claims Smallest Wireless Earbuds

A team formed by ex-Sony Ericsson and Nokia engineers claim to have the smallest cable-free earbuds around-- the Earin, a pair of separate buds armed with independent batteries and AptX-compatible wireless receivers.

EarinThe tiny buds weigh all of 5g and measure 14mm wide and 20mm long. They connect to smartphones and other audio devices via Bluetooth (3.0/4.0) and carry 50mAh  batteries promising up to 3 hours of playtime.

To make charging easier a companion capsule accessory provides both storage and an extra power source via built-in 100mAh battery (rechargeable via USB). The Earin package also includes 3 different foam tip sizes and a silicon "Concha Wing" attachment for more comfortable in-ear fitting.

Lost Device Finding Tile Ships

The Tile Bluetooth-powered lost device finder is now shipping, the company behind the square-shaped tracking dongle announces via Twitter, with an initial batch of customers to receive orders by June 2014.

Tile The Tile was revealed back in 2013 with a Selfstarter preorder/crowdfunding campaign worth $2.6 million. The miniature tag allows users not only find their lost devices (via combination of Bluetooth LE and companion app) but also help others hunt down their valuables, since the app picks up the location of any Tile, regardless of owner.

According to the company if a Tile user passes in range of a tag the app picks the location and privately sends it to its owner. It's a neat concept, if limited by the actual size of the Tile user network in the area.

Customers want an Oculus Rift-style virtual reality headset, but can't afford one? Polish vendor De JET Works might have a solution with the Vrizzmo, a smartphone-powered VR headset costing all of €50.

VrizzmoFirst seen at the Digital Dragons games industry conference, the Vrizzmo combines a head harness, optical lenses and an app. One simply slots in a smartphone (4.7-inch or larger), and the optics turn movies, games or pictures shown on the companion app into VR-friendly images.

Smartphone gyroscopes provide a head-tracking 3D effect.

Parrot shows off the latest addition to its popular AR.Drone quadricopter drone lineup-- the Bebop, the first aerial offering from the company to feature an HD camera and a built-in GPS.

Parrot BebopDesigned for flights both inside and outside the house (with styrofoam bumpers providing bump protection), the Bebop carries a 14MP 1080p camera complete with 180-degree fish-eye lens. A combination of sensors and image processing ensures smooth video, even when the drone is flying through choppy airs.

Like previous Parrot drones control comes via app, with the drone connecting to mobile devices via wifi. One can also use GPS to to plot flight routes or simply press a button to send the drone back home.
