The Memomate promises to allow customers to do a lot with a single device, being a combination of a 6.5-inch eInk display with stylus input support, a 10000mAh battery pack and, finally, wireless charging capability.
The battery portion of the device comes complete with x2 USB ports for power output, as well as microUSB and Lightning ports for charging the pack. Meanwhile the wireless charger comes built into an optional case able to draw power from an integrated USB cable plugged into the pack.
As for the eInk display, it is a rather bare-bones affair-- it is pressure sensitive for more accurate writing, but offers no options for storage, be it onboard or on the cloud. Instead, all it offers is a single button to wipe the screen clean, Etch A Sketch Style. In fact, the makers simply recommend one takes a photo of the screen to save drawings or notes.
Like many other oddball devices, the Memomate is available on a preorder basis via Indiegogo, with shipments promising to start from October 2018.
