LG releases the Velvet flagship smartphone in its home S. Korea, bringing about a full slew of details for the device, one featuring a 6.8-inch 2460 x 1080 resolution OLED display and the Snapdragon 765 chipset.
Long teased by the company, the Velvet claims to feature a combination of distinctive design and "tactile" elegance. One such touch involves the "Raindrop" camera array, with three cameras and LED flash set in descending order by size on the upper-left corner of the device. The cameras in question feature a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP depth sensor. A small central notch houses the 16MP front-facing camera.
